At PinecrestLane, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our services and products. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for returns, refunds, and cancellations. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Digital Products and Services
1.1 E-Books, Style Guides, and Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not offer refunds on e-books, style guides, or other digital downloads once the purchase is complete and the download is available to you. However, we consider refund requests under the following circumstances:
- Technical issues preventing access to the purchased digital product that cannot be resolved by our customer support team within 72 hours.
- Duplicate purchases of the same digital product (verified through our system).
- Accidental purchase, provided the request is made within 24 hours of purchase and you have not downloaded or accessed the content.
1.2 Online Styling Courses
For our online styling courses, we offer the following refund options:
- 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your course purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course content.
- Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing or completing the course, and our support team cannot resolve these issues within 7 days, you may be eligible for a full refund.
1.3 Subscription Services
For subscription-based services (such as our Premium Styling Membership):
- Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. No refunds are provided for the current billing period, but you will maintain access until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Annual Subscriptions: For annual subscriptions, you may request a prorated refund within the first 30 days of your subscription. After 30 days, we do not offer refunds for the remaining unused portion of your annual subscription.
- Free Trial Conversions: If you purchase a subscription immediately following a free trial period, you may be eligible for a full refund if requested within 48 hours of the first charge, provided there is no evidence of abuse of the refund policy.
2. Styling Consultations
2.1 Virtual Styling Consultations
For virtual styling consultations:
- Cancellation with 48+ Hours Notice: Full refund or rescheduling option available.
- Cancellation with 24-48 Hours Notice: 75% refund or rescheduling option available.
- Cancellation with Less than 24 Hours Notice: No refund, but a one-time rescheduling option may be offered at our discretion.
- Technical Failures: If the consultation cannot be completed due to technical issues on our end, a full refund or complimentary rescheduling will be provided.
2.2 In-Person Styling Services
For in-person styling services, including personal shopping sessions and wardrobe audits:
- Cancellation with 72+ Hours Notice: Full refund or rescheduling option available.
- Cancellation with 48-72 Hours Notice: 75% refund or rescheduling option available.
- Cancellation with 24-48 Hours Notice: 50% refund or rescheduling option available.
- Cancellation with Less than 24 Hours Notice: No refund, but a one-time rescheduling option may be offered at our discretion, subject to a rescheduling fee.
3. Physical Products
For physical products purchased through our website (such as style accessories, merchandise, or print publications):
3.1 Return Eligibility
You may return physical products within 30 days of receipt, provided the items are:
- In their original condition (unworn, unused, undamaged)
- In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
3.2 Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer support team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
- Our team will provide you with a return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Ship the item(s) back using the provided instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).
3.3 Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed.
3.4 Exceptions
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Customized or personalized products
- Gift cards
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
- Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration
4. Events and Workshops
For styling events, workshops, and seminars:
4.1 Virtual Events
- Cancellation with 7+ Days Notice: Full refund available.
- Cancellation with 3-7 Days Notice: 75% refund or credit toward a future event.
- Cancellation with Less than 3 Days Notice: No refund, but a one-time transfer to a future equivalent event may be offered at our discretion.
4.2 In-Person Events
- Cancellation with 14+ Days Notice: Full refund available.
- Cancellation with 7-14 Days Notice: 75% refund or credit toward a future event.
- Cancellation with 3-7 Days Notice: 50% refund or credit toward a future event.
- Cancellation with Less than 3 Days Notice: No refund, but a one-time transfer to a future equivalent event may be offered at our discretion, subject to a transfer fee.
4.3 Event Cancellation by PinecrestLane
If we cancel an event:
- You will receive a full refund, or
- You may choose to transfer your registration to a rescheduled date or alternative event.
- We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred due to event cancellation.
5. Gift Cards
PinecrestLane gift cards:
- Are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
- Expire 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
- Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or used without your authorization.
6. Promotional Discounts and Coupon Codes
In the case of refunds for purchases made with promotional discounts or coupon codes:
- Refunds will be adjusted to reflect the actual amount paid after discounts.
- One-time use coupon codes will not be reactivated or replaced after a refund is processed.
7. Refund Methods
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunded to the original card. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.
- PayPal Payments: Refunded to your PayPal account, typically within 3-5 business days.
- Bank Transfers: Refunded to the originating account, typically within 5-7 business days.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances can occur. If you require a refund outside the terms of this policy due to extenuating circumstances (such as serious illness, bereavement, or natural disaster), please contact our customer support team. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
9. Right to Refuse Refunds
PinecrestLane reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of:
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Abuse of our refund policy
- Multiple refund requests from the same customer over a short period
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions
